Alana and Alyssa
Alana De Garza's beautiful face has left an impression on the screens of small sizes. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas and moved to Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities including local independent films and global commercials. In spite of the minor role, she found acting as her true passion. She moved to New York and in 2001 she landed her first part in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. During the early part of the decade She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role on the short-lived drama The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to share the screen with some famous TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She portrayed Marisol Deko, Horatio the wife of actor Michael Caine. The most recent television appearance was on NBC's somewhat dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was eventually cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory and is Italian by descent. Her family was an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano was only seven years old older when her babysitter took Milano to an audition. Four girls selected among over a thousand applicants were chosen by Milano. Milano appeared in advertisements in both Broadway and on TV as well, such as the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
